Hi there, I'm Jamie!
Why Bionic Jamie? I was named after the Bionic Woman--a 1970s science fiction TV series about the first female cyborg, Jaime Sommers! This is what happens when your parents let your older brother pick your name.
I'm naturally passionate and curious and love cultivating and leading creative teams. I am fortunate to have found a way to combine my enjoyment of designing products and experiences with my desire to impact people's lives.
When I first became a manager, I understood it was an important job, and I knew I would do my best to support and guide my team. What I didn't truly appreciate was that my words and actions were setting an example for many. This became apparent over the years when I heard from someone sharing my influence on them. It took a while for me to let that sink in and to humbly acknowledge it. Being a leader is a privilege I have never taken for granted.
